Heresy

"If loving you is a sin... then let God damn me."

Dania has always lived a life of quiet devotion, serving the church and tending to her family's duties without question.

Grace has only ever lived for Dania.

In a small, devout town where sin is feared and difference is condemned, Grace is an object of unease, whispered about, watched, and quietly despised. But none of it matters to her, so long as Dania remains by her side.

When animals begin to turn up dead and rumors spread like rot through the town, suspicion needs a place to settle.

And Grace has always been an easy answer.

Dania believes she is protecting Grace from the cruelty of the world.

She does not realize that, piece by piece, Grace is shaping that world until nothing exists beyond her.
