forest of the naked eye

can you feel those branches up against your skin so soft
the nice autumn breeze blowing on your
skin so cold
the loud chirping of birds near by
yet the dirt is piling high above your feet
There's nothing you can do
to save yourself from
the depths of
The forest
Without seeing what's going on
there is just about
no way out of this knee high forest
that you feel around you
all you can do is
touch
feel
and
smell
what is around you
in the nature of this forest so big
