Princess Rosalind had lived a sheltered and blessed life in her father's kingdom. Rosalia, with her reddish brown hair and hazel eyes, had never expected to stand out. After her mother's accident and her father's absence, she if left to fill in for her mother and take care of her sister. When she is suddenly faced with decisions she never thought she'd have to make, pretending to be someone she isn't, and all the while trying to reason with an old childhood friend caught up in the memory of who she was as kids, and desperately trying to find a way out she has to find a way out at all cost. When she does find a way out she finds someone else who did too and somehow came out a better person. She also finds she can't help being drawn to him. She had thought she knew what her life was and when it came crashing down on her she was forced to step back as others tried to tell her where it should go. Now she has to take those pieces back and do it herself.
