Ryan's always been somewhat of a loner. Maybe not exactly, he had friends, he just preferred to be more on the sidelines. He liked to observe. Watch how people acted, how they wanted themselves perceived.

Brendon was the opposite. Everyone loved him, how could they not? He was Brendon Urie! He had always been out there, open for everyone to see. Brendon enjoyed it, he loved being around people, craved the attention they all gave him.

Naturally, they never interacted. They had mutual friends, sure, but they'd never spoken to each other on a personal level.

Until then.

That party before Brendon left for New York.

The party where they did a lot more than talking.

But Ryan wasn't gay, and neither was Brendon. It didn't mean anything. And Brendon was leaving anyways so what would be the point on dwelling on it.

Brendon would be gone, and he'd never have to see him again.
