A dual perspective book about two best friends who kill people together by putting poisonous flowers into meals/drinks.
Lily, a soft girl in university, is known as the school's "white swan". Kind and caring, nobody suspects her to be a killer. She grows Lily of the Valley flowers, amongst other flowers, in a garden she shares with her best friend, Mizuna.
Mizuna, as its name suggests, is a highly intelligent individual. Half-Japanese, half-German, though born and raised in the United States, it has a Japanese name, given to it by its mother, and its surname is 'Engel' meaning 'Angel' in German. It is known as the university's 'black swan'. Mizuna grows spider lilies in the garden that it shares with Lily.
Mysteriously, people from Mizuna and Lily's university keep dying. Nobody suspects Lily, since she's so sweet, and nobody suspects Mizuna, because though often sarcastic and rude, it also often focuses on school and other times is found hanging out with Lily. The truth is, the two have been killing the people in their classes behind everyone's backs, and the cops have yet to figure out it's them.
