Paused Time

The story centers on two people given a secret pocket of time-every day at exactly 3:17 PM, the world freezes. Cars stop mid-motion, voices cut off, clocks stop ticking. Only they can move.

During these paused moments, they talk about everything they hide when time is normal; regrets, love, fears, the feelings they never confessed. Those few seconds become their safest place-because nothing can interrupt them, and nothing has consequences. Did time stop working for them? Or was the pause never meant to last forever?
