The Day Bullets Refused to Kill

The war was supposed to end in blood.
Instead... it refused to.
On the frontlines of a nameless battlefield, something impossible happens-soldiers stop dying.
Bullets tear through flesh. Bones shatter. Organs rupture.
But no one dies.
At first, it feels like a miracle.
Until the screaming doesn't stop.
Men lie in the mud for hours... days... still breathing, still conscious, trapped in bodies that should have been corpses. Medics can't save them. Command can't explain it. And the enemy-just as terrified-keeps shooting anyway.
Because something has changed.
The sky opened the night before.
A burning eye in the clouds. Watching.
Now, the battlefield has become something worse than war-
a living grave.
As supplies run out and sanity fractures, a small group of soldiers realizes the truth:
They are not being kept alive to survive...
They are being kept alive to suffer.
And something in the sky is feeding on it.
But the deeper they dig into the trenches to escape the endless gunfire, the more they uncover buried ruins beneath the battlefield-ancient, wrong, and older than any war in history.

Weapons.
The same sky.
This has happened before.
And it never ended.
Now one broken soldier-half-dead, unable to die-must lead a desperate descent into the earth to find the source of the curse...
