It feels like falling-
an endless descent, as if I had leapt from the sky without a parachute, surrendering every ounce of logic, control, and reason. My body no longer belongs to me. It drifts, trembles, burns. Fear consumes me in slow, exquisite waves, slipping into every part of me until I crave it.
Until I crave him.
His gaze...
cold. Sharp. Inhuman.
When it lands on me, the world stills-as if I'm prey already chosen, already marked, already doomed. And I know it. I know it with a certainty that should send me running.
I should fear the wolf.
I should run from his fangs.
But deep down...
I think I'm waiting for him to catch me.
