Grandfather

In 1968, in a village that no longer exists, a boy survived a massacre.

His name is Nguyen An.

He grows up in the silence left behind, he grows up haunted, wordless, and carrying a past he can't quite face. But where others rebuild homes, An rebuilds something quieter: people. A shared meal. A steady presence. A place to rest.

Over time, they begin to call him Ông, or Grandfather.

Not because he is old, but because he is wise.

And when the past finally catches up to him, An must decide if some stories are meant to stay buried, or finally be told.
