Hwang Hyunjin. A 19-year-old college student has had a very rough past. His childhood was perfect. When he came out as gay to his mom, dad, and sister, they all supported him. His mother owned a vintage bookstore, and they were a perfect family.

Until.

Hyunjin had turned 16 and gotten into a relationship with a man named Jay Park. An 18-year-old who seemed to be perfect. The relationship was perfect for the first 3 months. Then Hyunjin started to show up with bruises after dates, split lips, yet he told no one. Until he was hospitalised after a fight he had had with his 'partner' on his 18th birthday.

Jay was arrested and sent to prison for 1 year. But Hyunjin? He was sent into a coma, with the risk of never waking up. His father broke, committing on the 4th day of Hyunjin's 12-day-long coma.

1 year later, Hyunjin still suffers from the trauma of his past. Panic attacks, trust issues, and worst of all, self-injury. But with the help of his friend group, he had made the best out of it.
