After tragedy leaves her stranded within the Fire Nation, Akihime grows alongside Princess Azula: a prodigy of fire, ambition, and terrifying brilliance. Bound together by circumstance and years of shared isolation, the line between enemy and companion slowly blurs.

As war spreads across the world, Akihime finds herself torn between the person she was raised to become and the one she is becoming beside Azula-caught between fear and devotion, control and compassion.

And somewhere along the way, she begins to question which of them is truly more dangerous.
