Tides Between Kingdoms

In the shadowed depths of the Ocean, the kingdoms Virella and Abyssira, two ancient races share the ocean but not peace. The merfolk are free to explore the ocean, followed by tradition and rules, while the sirens, cursed by the gods and sealed away from the ocean by merfolk, they follow there king and are punished for disobedience.
Kairos, a merman warrior next in line for the throne of Virella, has never questioned the rules-until he meets a siren in a forest of thick seaweed. Her name is Lyra, and unlike the tales he's been told, she is neither wicked nor wild, but wounded, curious, and heartbreakingly kind, but she hides a big secret deep in her heart.
