"Do you believe good people come from good or bad places?"

Born into a wealthy family in 1920s New York, brothers Tommy and Bailey Simmons grow up in a warm family that has stood the test of time. But when the Great Depression destroys their father's bank and riots force them to flee the country, the brothers are torn from everything they have ever known and thrown into the quiet suburbs of Great Britain.

For a while, the resilience they've built their foundation on is enough. But the looming shadow of World War II becomes harder and harder to ignore. Simultaneously, beneath the surface, something much deeper is going on. Fragmented memories stitch together to reveal a secondary story that seems ever so slightly out of grasp.

But by the time the truth finally reveals itself, will there be anything left to save?
