The Song Never Ends

Set in the pre-colonial era of the Visayas, the story follows Victoria, the beautiful and wealthy daughter of a powerful Datu. Despite her privileged life, her heart belongs to Eduardo, a talented peasant singer whose voice captivates her soul. Their love is forbidden, as Victoria is betrothed to a nobleman chosen by her father to secure political power.

Desperate to be together, the lovers plan to elope. However, their secret is discovered. Furious and determined to protect his family's honor, Victoria's father orders his men to capture Eduardo and kill him before they can escape.

Upon learning of his death, Victoria is consumed by grief and rage. She places a powerful curse and makes an eternal vow: she will be reborn again and again until she finds him. She swears that in every lifetime, her heart will recognize only him, and she will never love another until they are finally reunited.
