This is a story from a time when being homosexual was considered the biggest sin in the universe. Why? Because of the twisted thinking of people.

1754, 18th century:

Yeonjun was the priest's son. From the moment he was born, he was expected to follow rules made by people in the name of religion-rules no one ever questioned. Every second, he felt suffocated under the weight of those expectations, trapped inside a life that never felt like his own.

But everything changed when he met a thief-a free soul named Choi Soobin.

Despite the way he smelled of fish and the life he lived, for the first time, Yeonjun let his guard down. For himself.

Every night, Soobin would sneak into the church kitchen.

And every night, Yeonjun would let him.

It was all going beautifully. After 23 years, Yeonjun finally felt like himself. He had found someone he could be real with-someone who felt like home, like safety, like something that was only his.
