Line of Fire

Cassandra Nolan the younger sister of John Nolan, high ranked sergeant, retired military Sargent and certified general doctor. Cass would die for Detective Lopez, but as life doesn't go the same way she's watching Angela fall in love with someone else. Angela Lopez a highly skilled LAPD Training Officer at the Mid-Wilshire Division who was recently promoted to Detective. Angela is engaged to Wesley Evers and pregnant with his child. Soon enough Angela is investigating the murder of one of La Fiera's soldiers and protecting La Fiera's son, Diego, earning a token of gratitude, but then Diego is murdered and La Fiera's crew kidnaps Lopez from her wedding to Wesley and takes her to a compound in Guatemala. La Fiera plans to kill Lopez after her baby is born, but she won't if Cass has anything to say about it. Under the radar Cass, using her military days, infiltrates the base not telling anyone and starts taking guards out one by one. After, Cass stays close making sure Angela is safe. Eventually, Angela starts depending on Cass more and feelings start to develop.
