Ilya isn't used to people taking care of him. He's used to ignoring his feelings and channeling all of his anger into hockey. But after getting more comfortable with Shane and quickly falling for him, he starts to feel feelings he doesn't recognize. Like that fuzzy feeling he gets when he watches old russian cartoons, or that giggle he has to hold back at stupid jokes. He hates it. He hates being vulnerable and not manning up to deal with his feelings. But Shane makes him feel safe and happy and he doesn't know what to do about it.
This story is inspired by one I read on Ao3, I was obsessed with it so obviously I have to write my own now. It contains some mature themes but the age regression will always be non-sexual.
