Music To My Not-Ears

Nara's deaf. But she wasn't born with it. She lost her hearing when she was 9, and now, she's 19. She can sign, and talk, and read lips. That's the problem. She can understand what everyone says.

Worst part is?

No one knows. She never told anyone.
She never even told anyone she was deaf.

Until she meets someone. They bump shoulders as they crossed paths. Who is this mystery boy?

And to her surprise, he figured it out. Almost immediately.

'Are... you deaf?'
'Yes.'
'Oh. That's... that's really cool.'
'Not really. It kinda sucks.'
'Well, I think you're really cool, and that's all that matters.'
'Thanks.'

And before they knew it, they grew inseparable.
