This book is a heart turning ,heart wrenching story. This book is about how a adopted girl named Taila Sparks who finds her mom. Her mom tells her that someone is making a portal to the future and that the portal could rip the world in half. She is told that she is the only one that could stop him. For he is her brother. Her locket has a magical power that can be unlock in the hands of a true leader.She was never told this because they thought she was to young to know that she holds great power . But young or not they need her more than ever now. For she was that leader . Taila thinks that she can not do it. So she brings some friends along and he newly found sister Marian. Will Taila and her friends save the world or will they fail and let the world parish.
