Into the dark abyss

As soon as Roxie got into Juno's car, Juno starts spewing out concerns.
"Are you really not telling your mom and dad anything? You know they love you Roxie?"
"Of course I know that," Roxie says, "and that's exactly why I can't tell them. I can't and I won't disappoint them."
"By not telling them you think they won't be disappointed?" Juno confirms Roxie's only concerns.
"Yes, but I need to do this on my own..." Roxie says quietly.
"Whatever," Juno says almost annoyed, "if I had as amazing parents as you, I would tell them."
Roxie just stared out the window the rest of the ride to school in complete silence.

Sky rolls his eyes at his own mother's words. He heard it about a hundred times by now and he was so over it.
"Sky! Are you listening?" Miss queen, Iniana says, finely facing her son.
"You know how important it is for you to find a wife. You're almost 21 and you know what the other fae will say about you being that old and not married off yet. And you're royal for goodness sake's!"
