Miu knew, long before anyone said it out loud, that Lena was never going to be hers.

Some things didn't need confession. They lived in the way Lena never reached first, in the way her life always seemed to exist somewhere Miu could not follow. There was already someone written into Lena's story-someone constant, someone chosen.

And Miu... was not.

Still, she stayed.

She stayed in the quiet spaces between takes, where the lines blurred and the cameras could no longer tell what was real. She stayed in the soft hours of the night, where Lena's voice lost its certainty and found its way to her instead. She stayed in every moment that felt like something more, even when she knew it would never become anything at all.
Because Lena never asked her to stay.

But she never let her go, either.

And so Miu became a habit-

a place Lena returned to when the world grew too heavy,
when love felt like something slipping through her fingers,
when everything else fell apart.

Miu was never the beginning. She was never the end.

Just the in-between. The almost.

The place where Lena could set down her broken pieces-
and leave them behind when she was whole again.

And if loving Lena meant being nothing more than that,
