Adrian Vane is a man of sterile lines and lethal precision. A titan of architecture who views the city as a circuit board, he doesn't believe in accidents. When he finds Iris's lost notebook, he doesn't just read her thoughts-he begins to edit her reality.

First, it's a moved photo frame. Then, a missing pen appearing in a locked apartment. Soon, the people in her life are being "deleted" like errors in a blueprint.
