The Lines Crossed

I used to think I was good at staying out of things.

You know... not picking sides, not getting involved, just watching. It's easier that way, and People trust you more when you're quiet. They talk like you're not even there.

And that's how I know everything.

Who's hooking up with who.

Who's lying.

Who's pretending their okay.

At Westbridge High, nobody is actually who they say they are. Not the popular ones, not the quiet ones... not even my friends. Especially not my friends.

It all started with a post. Just one secret account.

Then another.

And another.

Now it's everywhere.

Group chats, crowded Classrooms, people checking their phones like their lives depend on it because at this point, they kind of do.

Friendships are breaking.

Relationships are getting exposed.

And suddenly, everyone's scared of being seen.

The funny thing is... none of this is new.

This wasn't happening for the first time...and I might know more than I'm supposed to.
