Hayes. Hayes Grier. I actually don't know what happened to us. We were best friends, since kindergarten and all the way to elementary. We used to hang out every single day, and we wouldn't get tired of each other. He knew all of my secrets and I knew all of his. We were like peanut butter and jelly; always together. We had just started middle school when he changed a lot. He went from calling me his princess, sissy and other cute stuff to calling me fat, ugly, worthless, and other things that I really don't want to mention. All of this really hurt me because he was like my brother, my other half. - What will happen when Emma Wilkinson starts high school, and faces one of her worsts nightmares that she deal with in middle school?

You're not yet 30 and you've already lived a life with more drama and intrigue than all your friends combined. Finally professing your feelings to your "will they, won't they" best friend, everything was like a RomCom. Until, of course, you made the stupid decision a few years ago to marry your school sweetheart on the grounds of you being pregnant with his child, but that so-called romance seemed to fizzle out the second you said "I Do". This has left you divorced and living as an independent single mum in a flat in London with your gorgeous now 4-year-old, Lily. Working back to back shifts between the coffee shop and bar, raising a child and just trying to survive doesn't leave you much time for socialising- plus the thought of dating turns your stomach after how Lily's dad treated you while you were pregnant. You didn't want to bring any more disappointing men into Lily's life. That was until you met an interesting stranger while at work, a stranger who became somewhat of a stalker... in the most romantic sense. He's cute and charming, and shows such interest in your life. But he's an actor, a world famous one too, so how could he possibly fit into your little family unit. Time to face the crash course of dating a superstar whilst trying to raise a child.
