"And that means I'll get hurt...because that's just the way you are!" I said, hoping he would correct me. "You're right." He said simply after a long pause. "You're right." She was new; he was jaded. She was oblivious; he knew all too well. She was innocent; he was everything but. And anyone who looked at the two would know just how wrong they were together. Yet there was no denying the obvious fire that seemed to heat every time they were near each other. This isn't the typical "boy loves girl- they fall in love" etc. etc. This is about heart wrenching confessions, breath taking encounters, love shattering secrets,and two people who so desperately want to know just what love is.
