Alesha Henderson is stuck in Hawkins since the big earthquake of 1986. Ever since the town had been put under military quarantine by the government everything seems to turn upside down. Her little brother Dustin Henderson is behaving differently, getting secretive and suddenly acting out of character.
They fight more than they spent time laughing together.

She notices that Dustin is always wandering off with Steve Harrington. A childish idiot she had sworn to stay away from. But when her friend Robin Buckley asks er to cover shifts at the WSQK radio station with the possibility of spending much more quality time with Dustin - the offer is to tempting to say no.

Not knowing that she is going to spent much more time with a man she had sworn to never come in contact with ever again.
