Teach Me Wrong

A Forbidden Lines story -

Law school was supposed to be my chance to start over. If I worked hard enough, kept my scholarship, and stayed focused, I could finally build a future that belonged to me.

Then small things began to happen.

Comments that lingered in my mind long after they should have been forgotten. Encounters that felt too deliberate to be accidental. The growing sense that someone was paying attention to details no one else noticed.

At first, I dismissed it as stress. A new city. A demanding course load. Too little sleep and too much pressure.

But the feeling never went away.

The closer I came to understanding what was happening, the harder it became to tell where coincidence ended and intention began.

Because somewhere along the way, I had become the subject of an interest I didn't understand.

And some people, once they become interested in something, never let it go.
