*Book 4 in the Black Tiger series* [Content Warning: This book contains explicit language, smut, smoking, drug use, depictions of extreme violence, vampirism, and dark mature themes unsuitable for readers under 18. Reader discretion is advised.] Five years have passed since the Skulker War. New York City has rebuilt itself from the ashes, its skyline gleaming-but peace is fragile, and the shadows of the past refuse to die. The city is safer now, yet unease lingers: The people of New York collectively debate whether or not they even need a superhero anymore. James Blake, the Black Tiger, patrols the city alongside Tigress, keeping the streets safe from threats the public refuses to see. But a new danger emerges from the shadows. The Darkseeker has come to New York, bringing with him a mysterious plague: vampirism spreads like a virus, turning ordinary citizens into a growing army of monsters. Unlike other enemies Black Tiger has faced, these vampires are civilians, families, and friends-innocents caught in a tide of darkness. Every decision is a moral gamble: attack too aggressively, and the city suffers; hesitate, and the vampire army grows stronger. As the city reels from the outbreak, whispers of Black Tiger's relevance grow louder. Is he a relic of a darker age, or the only hope left to stop a nightmare that no one else can see? With Tigress at his side, Black Tiger must navigate a labyrinth of terror, strategy, and moral compromise. Every fight brings new horrors, and every night blurs the line between hero and predator. The vampire plague is relentless, and the city's survival rests on the shoulders of the two Tigers. Some nightmares never die-and some monsters, like the Darkseeker, refuse to forgive. (Small note: Dont be thrown by the interchanging narrative lenses. The pov will alternate between the hero and villain throughout this book.)

It's been almost a hundred years since Earth's civilizations fell, leaving only ruins and memories. Long before the collapse, they began taking humans, but now, everyone knows who they are and they fear them. The few who manage to return from their captivity tell stories of how these creatures treat humans like animals or children, tending to them like pets or slaves. Most survivors live in hidden cities, avoiding the ancient ruined cities at all costs. But not Jace and his crew. As a group of Stray Humans, they've made the decaying cities their home, roaming the forgotten streets, never staying in one place for long, and bringing all their skills to the table. They are a family, working together to make sure those things, Aliens, never take another human as long as they are near. When the aliens of A.C.R. (Animal Care and Rescue) find a new group of humans wandering the ruins of a large city, they think it will be an easy capture. But they soon learn that these particular humans have more willpower than most. They dodge every trap, disappear around every bend, and even manage to take some of the already captured humans with them. The aliens pity these "little creatures"-they just don't want to leave their home, but Earth is falling apart at the seams, and they are determined to take the stubborn little humans to the safety of one of the mother planets. No matter the cost. Warning - This story may have -Self harm -Rape -Abuse -Suicidal thoughts and actions -Violence and gore -Uncomfortable scenes (If this isn't your first alien pet book, you know what I'm talking about)
