This fan fiction revolves around the life of Devon Aguaristi. She is a 24-year-old black/puerto rican college graduate out of school, a job, and a boyfriend. On top of all of that, she is forced by life to help carry the weight of supporting her family with her mom. Yet, where there's a will, there's a way and Devon lives out that philosophy with no shame. She's hardheaded, but in a good way that keeps her spirits high as well as her head up. However, things will start to get even weirder, if not worse, because she'll again be dealt with a hand that will have her patterning up with a handsome cop from foreign origins. Literally.
