Christabel has been part of the Drake family for five years now.She's married to Connor, and she's even a vampire now. Everything has worked out perfectly for her. With the obvious threats out of the way, everything seems to be going smoothly. What could go wrong, right? Well, don't speak too soon, because with the Drake's, nothing is too safe, and there is ALWAYS a threat.
With new enemies arising and even new threats showing up, everyone is nervous. But what happens when one of the youngest brothers goes missing, and on their own property at that? You can never be too safe in your own home, right?
With Christabel contemplating to leave the one place that she's found a permanent home in, what happens when they least likely person tries to convince her to stay? Why should she stay, though? Everything she's ever wanted is falling a part right before her eyes, so of course he first instinct is to just... leave. Who wouldn't, though? After all, running away seems to be the best option. Christabel sees herself as weak, as someone who only gets in the way. But when someone puts their faith into her, what'll happen?
Besides, all it takes is a little leap of faith, right?

But she learns that there is something about her that is special and that she is not only human. Meet Jared Gray, the person that kidnapped Isabelle because of her being his mate.
