You're high school friend MC moved away to a small town a few years ago. Now they've gone missing, and the investigators think they ran off. You know better. So you decide to do some poking around to see what's actually happening. Just your luck you run into some clowns and get distracted. On one hand, you enjoy the shows and Pierrot is endearing albeit intense, but you do still have an objective..
In other words, MC failed to catch Pierrot's attention and now you are gonna take their place as the love interest.
