Set in the early 1950s
Nico di Angelo, a traumatized teen from Italy, moves to the New York city when his half-sister's mom dies. He doesn't let anyone in and is rude to everyone. He's gay, but given the time period, no one accepts him, he doesn't even accept himself.

Will Solace is from Texas but moved to New York when he was younger. He's the personification of sunshine and everyone loves him for how kind and happy he always is. He is Bi, but again. because the time period, he's in the closet, he dates girls to seem like he's straight.
