Synopsis

She was never meant to be important.

When she wakes up inside a historical novel, she quickly realizes the cruel truth, she has become a minor side character with only one purpose in the story: to die at the hands of the infamous villainess.

A death triggered by a love that was never hers to begin with the body she now inhabits is hopelessly devoted to the crown prince, the very man the villainess is dangerously obsessed with.

But she refuses to follow that ending.

Instead of becoming an enemy, she chooses the most dangerous path of all, she gets close to the villainess. Close enough to watch her, to distract her, to keep her from destroying the story's original flow... and to protect herself from an inevitable death.
