"Who are you?" she asked me exasperated. Her breath uneven, features frustrated.
You know me I want to say, I don't reply. I watch her.

"Where the hell did you come from?" she staggers in her steps. Tilting sideways, going off balance. I catch her in my arms. Breaking her fall, steadying her.
A faraway land of another time, I want to say.

Her frustration builds up and my silence only fuels it.
With angry tears in her heavenly eyes, she grasps on my shirt.

"You haunt me.
I close my eyes, I see you. You are always there, but never quite in reach.
I can't stop thinking about you.
Look at what have you done to me?
You made me insane"

"Laura" is all I say and she collapses.
