Ilya never made it past the Prospect Cup, Shane didn't even see the rink. Injuries derailed both of their careers and shut down any hopes of seeing their NHL dreams come true. Neither of them were drafted, and neither were ever mentioned in the hockey world again.
They were forced to forge new paths, and instead of the familiarity of a fan packed arena, they find a new home in the theatre. No longer will there be ice beneath their feet, but a stage, and in place of a playbook they now memorize lines in a script. But standing before a new type of audience is horrifying for Shane, and the thought of portraying a character, being someone he's definitely not, is even more so. Shane may have been a warrior on the ice, but living up to the heroics of the great Patroclus of whom he's been cast, sends his anxiety soaring at the worst of times. The only thing that helps is having Ilya by his side, his very own Achilles in the flesh.
The two will have to work together to bring the passion between the two Greek warriors to life on stage, while trying to navigate the raging fire that's burning between them. Shane only wonders if he'll be good enough, or will he get caught with his head down a second time?
