Welcome to The Inkwell Challenge!

​To increase my versatility, push my creative boundaries, and hone my craft, I am taking on a series of strictly constrained flash fiction writing exercises. Every chapter in this collection is a brand-new short story born from a unique prompt with rigid rules-ranging from restrictive word counts and required objects to highly specific opening lines and themes.

​To give you a behind-the-scenes look at the writing process, each chapter is formatted in three parts:
-​The Prompt: The exact challenge and rules I was given.
-​The Draft: My story written to meet those constraints.
-​The Evaluation: The actual grade and critique I received from my AI writing assistant.
