Me After You

Dear Luke,

inside is our story. I hope you find as much joy reading this as I did writing it. I wanted to retell our story so we never forget these little moments. As time passes and we make bigger memories that may overshadow the smaller ones, I want us to have a record of all the tiny moments so we never forget what matters. The moments in life where the best parts of our relationship were the moments we just talked for hours, the moments we just listened to music while driving.

I will be updating this as our relationship progresses. I'm not sure at what point I'll show this to you. I want to create enough entries to give you something to read for a while. At the same time I'm struggling to keep this from you. I'm writing this as I'm sitting on a discord call with you. You're currently writing my letter, and I've watched you rip up about three art pieces at this point because they're not "perfect" (stop doing that, I would love it as is, perfect or not!!).

Above all else, I hope that I can write this in a way that conveys the depth of my love for you. And if you don't fall in love with yourself reading this, then I've failed as a writer, and I will rewrite this as many times as necessary until you see yourself the way I do.
