Rolf Seiber and Erika Werner have been best friends since childhood. They've been through Hell together, and they do everything together, including... getting married? After Rolf gambles all of his money away, and Erika's apartment burns down, they find themselves in a dire need of a quick solution. An inheritance provides that solution... with conditions. He needs a wife, she needs a roof over her head. And best friends always help each other out. Though marriage is a big step for anybody, especially for two people who've never even kissed, the solution is easy when they already love one another. Too bad neither of them realize it, or have the guts to admit it.

In every friendship, there are unspoken rules you're not supposed to break. And this is one of them: Girl Code #1: Never date your best friend's ex. * * * * * I never meant to fall for him, the man who once belonged to my best friend. I had witnessed it all : the sparks, the slow unraveling, the heartbreak. And I was there to hold her hand through every tear, every rant, every vow to never look back. But feelings aren't always fair. And hearts don't always ask for permission. When fate brings him back into my life unexpectedly, it should've meant nothing. Just a polite hello, a distant memory. Instead, it sparks something neither of us can ignore. Now, caught in the middle between loyalty and longing, I find myself wrapped in a love that feels real, but shadowed by guilt. Because as our relationship deepens, so does the weight of the secret I haven't told her. Cover by : @kamubiruu
