Remsly Trent is the daughter of a warrior and a god, and so she was raised to be the perfect little soldier for her camp by her battle-hardened, but still loving, mother.
But after the battle at Mount Tam her whole world shifts. A lot of her friends and family are dead. So many good romans lost their lives to the thousands of monsters that flooded out of Mount Tam.
Month later her best friend vanishes, almost like he was swallowed by the earth itself. Eight months later the first son of Neptune in over a hundred years shows up out of the blue. Then a god- who gives them a quest.
'Go to the land without gods', he said. 'And kill a giant or something.' Not like that giant is the Anti-Pluto or anything. Totally doable.
