A Pretty Girl's Life Problems

Sam Anderson had two dreams: go to Nationals and finally talk to the cute boy at the coffee shop. One of them required hours at the rink perfecting her Axels. The other required courage she wasn't sure she had.

Sam Anderson was just your average sixteen-year-old girl. Her life was perfect. Except maybe her mom, who made it her life mission to mold Sam into the perfect smart daughter she wasn't. And that U.S. figure skating championship that was so close Sam felt like she could touch it with the tips of her fingers, yet so out of reach.

All that was left was a boyfriend. Like, THE boyfriend. But such a thing didn't exist in real life. Sam had dated before, but all those guys were just a way to pass the time, leaving her chasing after something that didn't exist. Not to mention, they were jerks.

That was until she met CG, aka the Cute Guy who goes to the same coffee shop as her. Can romance ever happen between them?

But things start to take a sour turn when everything she's worked for begins falling apart: her chances at Nationals start feeling further away than ever, drama surges when CG's long-lost stepbrother Raphael appears in the picture, and her friend group implodes and suddenly nothing is as perfect as it seems.

Sam wanted two things: Nationals and the cute boy at the coffee shop.

She might not get either. Even worse: she might lose everything.
