"How do my eyes look right now?" she asked, voice low, almost teasing-but with something softer hidden beneath. Lucas's breath hitched. He could feel the heat of her body so close, the warmth of her skin through the thin fabric of her blouse. For a moment, all the careful control he held so tightly around himself faltered. "They're... the prettiest eyes I've ever seen," he said without thinking, his words slipping out before his mind could stop them. - Lucas Grant has always had a problem: he can't lie. He tells the truth, no matter the cost and people hate him for it. But everything changes the night his sister-in-law is murdered. Lucas can't remember what really happened. His best friend becomes the prime suspect, insisting he didn't do it, leaving Lucas trapped between doubt and loyalty. The court orders him into therapy to uncover the truth but Lucas wasn't prepared to meet the most stunningly beautiful, utterly unreadable woman he's ever seen as his therapist.
