Without Fanfare | A Quinn Hughes Romance

Townes Mackintosh builds spaces people remember without knowing why.

As one of the most sought-after designers in sports architecture, her work has taken her inside arenas across the country. She is used to shaping the places where thousands of fans gather to watch something bigger than themselves.

The most unexpected thing to come out of one of those projects was not the work.

It was Quinn Hughes.

Quinn is one of hockey's brightest stars, used to a life lived in front of roaring crowds. What happened between them began quietly, in a different city and a different season of their lives.

They both believed it ended there.

Until Quinn is traded to Philadelphia.

Now the entire city is celebrating its newest hero while Townes finds herself three rows off the glass with her hockey-obsessed family, watching the man she thought she left behind take the ice.

The biggest moments between them were never meant for the spotlight.
