The planet was full of criminals and thieves, people that lived by the night. Luckily the empire hasn't taken over the planet, a thing that allowed for most of the underworld to want to have a place there.

This was the case of Darth Maul, now just Maul. The red horned Zabrak, that was trying to build his own criminal empire. The Crimson Dawn.

That was his main goal in the planet, but soon it changed the moment a Twi'lek jedi appeared in the planet. Since his rebirth he was obsessed with the idea of having an apprentice.

He managed to capture the Twi'lek, thinking that he could turn her in the dark side. What he didn't expect was that scene was observed by someone.

A feminine figure between the shadows, looking as the Jedi got capture, instantly recognizing her. A shadow with a hannya mask covering her face, black clothes and a black katana hanging from her hip, and just a little down, what it look like, a hilt of a lightsaber.

Neither Maul or her were aware of the connection that the force was preparing for them. A connection that was going to last until death. And while the hated for each other was overwhelming, perhaps something else started to erupt in that hate.
