One moment, Emma Scott is in her college room in 2015, and the next she's in 1921 falling in love with an ex-soldier with a charming smile and a secret... Emma's an old hand at time travel: the first time she was pulled backwards she was ten years old. She can sense the memories that stone, fabric and wood have soaked up: usually she just sees them, but sometimes she ends up living them. She knows the drill: (1) avoid getting pulled backwards in the first place; (2) avoid the object that's pulled you backwards; (3) prevent the memory that imprints on the object, or, if all that fails, (4) wait it out until you're back in the right time. The problem is that the object was an old ring that her Granny Alice bequeathed to her, and Emma last saw it on the finger of her great grandmother, fleeing into a crowded London street. Now Emma is trying to find the ring and go back to her own time, but her great grandmother has vanished, and meanwhile there's Charlie Lawrence who's making Emma wonder if she even wants to go back at all...

"She crossed time itself to find a love society would never understand." ||WLW||Historical Lovers vibes|| Ivy Belladont has always lived for the stories that promise everything she's never had: candlelit ballrooms, stolen glances, and that breathless, rain-soaked kiss that changes everything. But her days are spent above her family's old bookstore, cataloging love she'll never risk for herself-until a mysterious patron gifts her a strange, never-seen-before book with a warning about choice, risk, and the true cost of romance. When Ivy opens it, she doesn't just read the story-she falls into it. She wakes in a world of glittering society balls and ruthless gossip columns, dressed in men's tailored trousers instead of a gown, forced to pass as an exotic foreign guest to explain away her every mistake. And at the heart of it all is Lady Violet Vale: society's flawless debutante, duty-bound to marry well, but hiding a reckless hunger in her eyes. Their connection is instant, electric, and entirely forbidden. In secret gardens and candlelit rooms, they trade confessions meant to stay buried, and risk touches that could destroy them both. Because love this improper is never safe-and Ivy will have to decide if she's willing to pay the price for the one thing she's always wanted: a love that dares everything.
