Asher's life is simple: go to school, work his shift at the fast food joint, come home to his messy apartment, and lose himself in video games and comics. He's never been great with people - socially awkward and prone to tripping over his own feet, he's perfectly content keeping to himself. At least he was, until Kade moved in.

Kade is everything Asher isn't: charming, confident, and annoyingly good at everything he does. With his sharp wit, guitar skills, and habit of flirting just to get a reaction, he makes it his personal goal to push Asher's buttons every chance he gets. From turning mundane trips to the grocery store into races, to pranking him during late-night gaming sessions, their apartment is always filled with competition and chaos.

To the outside world, they're just two roommates who can't stand each other.
