It's been six years since Saniya last saw Zayn and, hey, you want to make an impact, a proposal is a good way to go.
The current situation: Saniya and Zayn are engaged, but there's a hell of a lot to establish. Saniya's still got her career ahead of her, she's not ready to settle down in one place while Zayn travels the world every three months or so. And is it so wrong for her to feel just a little bit insecure? Zayn was close to marrying someone else - someone with the same status as him, the same career path - and he left it all for her. Saniya can't help but wonder why.

And then, like there sometimes is, there's the relapse.
