After moving to New Zealand because Jake as found a new career path, the Sully kids start at a boarding school and have to adjust to a completely new environment. Neteyam ends up sharing a room with Ao'nung, a student known for getting into trouble, and the two don't get along at first since neither of them wanted the arrangement. Over time, though, things between them and their lives start to change...specifically the truth.

What the Forest Told the Sea
In the forest, The Sully family rules a kingdom. Jake is the king, Neytiri the queen, and their children the princes and princesses. Their eldest, Neteyam is the heir to the throne until they are forced to flee and lose their royal status. Neteyam is an observer. He is quiet and often disregards his opinions and feelings to the benefit of others. In this AU everyone is Na'vi. They are still at war with the humans, like in the movie. In the beginning, the story goes along with the events of the movie, up until they go to stay in the Metkayina kingdom. The Metkayina kingdom is ruled by King tonowari & Queen Ronal. Along with their children, Ao'nung and Tsireya. Ao'nung is the eldest and heir to the kingdom, but he is also spoiled rotten.

A town called Awa'atlu, focuses on the Sullys moving to a new beach town. Following them and their new neighbours. How they find their footing in this new un adventured place. How they struggle with leaving behind their old life. It is a human AU based off of avatar the way of water.
