Tea Time and Cookies: A (not so) Simple Visit

Healing people was easy. Fixing systems? Not so much.

Spending time in the capital should have been simple.

Get in. Gather information. Attend a few parties. Leave.

Instead, I find myself navigating political manipulation, assassination attempts, and the uncomfortable discovery that I am not nearly as invincible as I thought.

After a brutal attack forces me to rethink everything, I make drastic changes. Against my better judgement-and despite swearing to never cross their borders-I accept an invitation to visit our southern neighbours.

Unfortunately, my attendants see my growing interest in certain nobles as an opportunity.

I insist I intend to return home single.

No one believes me.

What begins as an uneasy diplomatic visit quickly turns into something far more dangerous when I uncover evidence that someone is actively dismantling the temple system itself. If the damage spreads, the consequences will reach far beyond a single kingdom.

As I struggle to rebuild what was lost, I begin confronting another problem entirely:
who I am becoming in this world.

Getting too comfortable with that answer may prove more dangerous than any assassin.

I am not a damsel in distress.

I am not a heroine - tragic or otherwise.

But if someone thinks I'll quietly let the system that gave me my Elements collapse?

They are about to be very disappointed.
