It Wants Silence

Peace and quiet. They walk together in perfect harmony as if they were always meant to exist together.
Peace softens the world, dulling its edges, while quiet hushes every echo, wrapping everything in a comforting blanket of silence. Cute. Little do they know that soon, peace begins to feel unnatural. Like the calm after something tragic has already happened. And quiet begins to suffocate with no voice. A distant hum of life. Just silence. The one that makes your own thoughts sound too loud. Because real peace doesn't erase everything. And real quiet, doesn't mean nothing is there.
