The Manchester Pythons are an ice hockey team based in Manchester, UK. The team plays in the Elite Ice Hockey League, the top level of ice hockey in England, where many rejects from better leagues such as the NHL end up. For the last two seasons, the team has been home to a group of good (but not quite NHL standard) players from Australia. At the start of their second season in Manchester, a new girl takes over as the team's media person, and catches the eye of a particular forward.
